Originally from Singapore I have a unique skill set that encompasses curatorial training, project management, arts admin, graphic design, language skills and the experience of having worked in major international institutions. I was recently granted a UK Global Talent Visa for Visual Arts – Curating.

My research-driven curatorial practice addresses urgent issues in contemporary times through the lens of art, such as the climate crisis and contentious issues surrounding the role of Big Tech. I have curated and organised independent curatorial projects in both Singapore and London and have experience commissioning artworks.

Most recently (2022), I assisted in delivering NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore’s core programmes and its communication outreach, providing essential support across different departments, including the Residencies Programme which is dedicated to established and emerging artists. I managed day-to-day operations and the concept development of programmes such as AIRCAST, the Centre’s first podcast which broadcasts the ideas, processes, and research methodologies of our Artists-in-Residence. I was responsible for the organisation of Open Studios sessions, as well as other events such as film screenings and performances. I was also part of the small team who worked on Free Jazz IV –Geomancers, a multimedia programme for the Singapore Art Week in January 2022.

Prior to this, I completed an MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London (2018–2020), obtaining a distinction for my coursework. I entered the MFA Curating programme with professional experience as part of the exhibitions project team at ArtScience Museum (2017-2018), a major international museum in Singapore featuring large scale exhibitions that integrates art, science, culture and technology. During the period, I took on in a hybrid role that included exhibition project management as well as graphic design. I was part of the projects team that delivered the following exhibitions: The Universe and Art; HUMAN+: The Future of Our Species; Treasures of the Natural World, Specters and Tourists; Art from the Streets and Wind Walkers: Theo Jansen's Strandbeests. I worked closely with many stakeholders, such as the Conservator and Registrar, the Marketing team, the Programmes and Education team, and external parties such as curators and artwork lenders to help ensure all the components of the exhibitions were completed within the timeline.

In addition, I have had a previous career in graphic design and marketing which has proved complimentary to my curatorial practice in terms of creative thinking, steering projects, marketing communications, meeting deadlines and keeping budgets.
